Shaykh Junayed furthered his studies at Darul Uloom New York, where he completed his Hifdh and traditional Islamic Studies under esteemed scholars, including Ml. Abul Khair, Ml. Saiful Islam, Mufti Manzoor, and many others. His quest for knowledge led him to the Islamic University of al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, where he earned an associate degree in Arabic Language before progressing to the Faculty of Quran and Islamic Studies. He graduated as the second American student in the program, achieving the prestigious grade of Mumtaz (Excellent).
Throughout his career, Shaykh Junayed has served as an Imam and Islamic Studies instructor at several prominent mosques and Islamic centers, including the Jamaica Muslim Center, Masjid Hamza, Shelter Rock Islamic Center, and Long Island Muslim Society. His diverse experiences across various communities have enriched his teaching approach, allowing him to inspire students with a deep understanding of Islamic teachings and values. Shaykh Junayed is committed to nurturing the spiritual and intellectual growth of his students, fostering a strong foundation in Islamic education.
