Elhaam Academy is a New York State-approved Islamic school located in Queens, New York City. We provide a holistic education that integrates Islamic values with a rigorous STEAM-focused academic program. Our approach develops the whole child. Students grow intellectually, spiritually, and ethically. We prepare learners to think critically, act responsibly, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Lower Elementary

Grades Kg-2

The lower elementary program provides a nurturing and structured learning environment where students build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development. Instruction is play-based and hands-on, supporting curiosity, creativity, and a positive relationship with learning.

Upper Elementary

Grades 3-5

The upper elementary program introduces a more structured academic experience across
mathematics, science, English language arts, and social studies. Instruction emphasizes inquiry, collaboration, and problem solving while strengthening reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Middle School

Grades 6-8

The middle school program supports growing independence and deeper academic thinking. Humanities courses use an integrated approach to English language arts and history, strengthening literacy, analysis, and historical understanding through connected themes and texts. In science, mathematics, and technology, students continue a STEAM-focused approach that emphasizes inquiry, application, and real-world problem solving. Instruction prepares students for high school level expectations while reinforcing responsibility, ethical reasoning, and strong study habits.
