Inquiry
Contact our Admissions Office by phone at 866-935-4226 or email at Info@elhaamacademy.org to express your interest. Our Admissions Team will provide detailed information about our school programs and answer any preliminary questions you may have.
School Tour & Information Session
Attend an information session and tour of our school where you will visit classrooms, meet teachers, and learn about our curriculum. The information session will cover our educational programs, STEAM focus, and Islamic studies program
Application Submission
Create a new account on GradeLink Complete the online application through GradeLink Pay the $250 application fee Submit the additional documents: Copy of the student’s birth certificate Previous school report card (grades 1-6) Standardized testing (NYS exams/MAPS) Immunization records medical records Home Language Survey Any relevant evaluations or educational plans (e.g., IEP, 504 Plan)
Family Interview
The purpose of the family interview is to understand the family’s needs, interests, and expectations as well as to ask any specific questions about the school and its programs. It also allows the school to ensure that our educational approach aligns with your child’s needs and your family’s values. You will be invited by an admissions representative.
Student Assessment
The purpose of the student assessment is to evaluate the student’s current academic level and readiness for their grade level. This will take place at the same time of the family interview. Proficiency in mathematics and English Language Arts appropriate for the student’s grade level will be assessed. This helps us identify if your child has achieved grade level proficiency and any areas where additional support may be needed.
Admission Decision
After the family interview and student assessment, the admissions committee will convene to make a decision. Families will receive an admission decision from the school via email. If accepted, the notification will include next steps for enrollment.

Enrollment Packet
After acceptances, parents will receive and complete the enrollment packet. The packet includes forms such as enrollment agreement, family handbook,emergency contact information, and consent forms for various activities
Tuition
The tuition agreement form will outline payment plans and due dates. There is a $1,000 down payment. .
Orientation & Welcome
All new families must attend the new student orientation session. This includes meeting teachers, receiving class schedules, and becoming familiar with school policies and procedures. Families will also receive information about school uniforms, supply lists, and important dates.
