Students Engage with Dr. George A. Garland on SDG Projects for 2025

An inspiring and interactive session took place on January 23, 2025, at 87-41, 165th St, Jamaica, NY, as Dr. George A. Garland, President of the United Nations Association-USA Southern New York Division, met with a vibrant group of students to discuss the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr. Garland highlighted the importance of the SDGs in building a sustainable and equitable future. He passionately shared how young minds can actively contribute through innovative, youth-led projects. With a focus on SDG Goal Projects for 2025, students explored opportunities to take action on global issues such as climate change, education equality, clean water access, and sustainable cities.

Key Highlights of the Event
